Hi! I’m Akash - owner of Doggy Style Pet Shop, along with my wife, Sneh. My prior life involved a Business degree and Corporate America, but I never felt that I was making a difference in people’s lives. I went along and followed the status quo, but I knew soon enough that it wasn’t for me. An opportunity presented itself to own my own business. After evaluating my options, I decided on purchasing Doggy Style Pet Shop; I fell in love with the store when I saw it. Back then, my wife and I had a German Shepherd named Belle, and we rescued other pets including a couple of bunnies along the way. Belle had a lot of allergies, and the vet had recommended various prescription kibble and canned food that didn’t seem to work.

On my first day training at the store (8 years ago), I felt that I knew a lot about pet nutrition, but I was very wrong. In taking ownership of the store, I learned about the various products we carry, and I got to feed Belle the best of diets. I saw Belle’s allergies and overall health improve significantly! This drove me more to sell the right type of nutritious foods for all my customers fur babies. My reward in all of this is seeing my customers - 2 legged, and 4 legged happy and healthy! I am selective about the products I sell at the store. You can also be assured that the food, treats, and toys sold here have been tested and approved by my fur babies - German Shepherds Coco and Maggie, and Suri the cat!
